8/30/13

I feel like there isn't enough information here to accurately form an opinion on the matter. It's obvious there might be some racism issue at play here considering that one customer felt threatened, but not enough sides of the story are published in order for me to take a clean cut standing.

I have a dream assignment.

"We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream."

Martin Luther King Jr. was displayed his mastery of metaphors in his speech, and this quote is no exception to that. When he compares justice to water, and righteousness to a mighty stream, it's interesting to note that the water flows through the stream. He is expressing that justice has lately not followed the path that it should, the stream, as in the path of righteousness.

1. 100 years later, the negro is still not free
2. but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt.
3. now is the time.
4. I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
5. from every mountainside, let freedom ring.
6. free at last, free at last, thank god almighty we are free at last.

1. Yes, I think they should be tried as adults, because the act either shows that they are a danger to the public or a psychological problem. c:

2. No, they are still juveniles. Their names should not be disclosed.

3. Sometimes these types of things must be considered anomalies and the best we can do is damage control. Creating a new law because one person out of millions failed to control themselves does not condone a lockdown.
