1. No I don't think that I would want to do that because I am environmentally friendly. Oil is bad. Tree are good. yes.

Lecture learnings

1. Congressional pay raises are limited by the President's veto and also fear of losing seats in the next election.

2. Congress has the power to regulate commerce.

3. Direct taxes must be apportioned based on population.

4. Congress cannot pass laws to tax exports.

My favorite president is probably Bill Clinton. He did a lot for the country, and when he left office, the congressional budget office reported that there was a surplus. He knew what he was doing.

To be honest, I'm not even surprised about this sort of criticism of West Virginia. I'm used to the standard that we are held to, and although there are very many exceptions to this stereotype, the opinion of West Virginia probably will not change for some time.

1. Government Shutdown: The United States Government shut down because they could not reach a decision on a new budget deal. The republicans wouldn't budge on the ACA and the Democrats would not let them repeal it.
